Whoa…news galore

Today’s newpapers are full of wholesome, gory and shocking news. It was a very good reading for 30minutes. Then life goes on.

I like the section where few pages are about the No Smoking Day. I have doubt it works. People who smokes will continue to smoke. People who do not smoke but bow to the pressure of peers, will smoke. People whoo chose not to smoke will do just that. If one page cost you around RM40,000, imagine how much money was poured into this campain. Creative agency will smile. Newspapers too. Oh, yeah…the smokers are paying for the freaking advert cause they are paying the ciggy tax…..now padan muka hahaha.

I can’t help but read about the married ladies who still look good in their thirties. I know singletons who looks good in their thirties! Apparently, age is just a number. How the ladies carry and feel about themselves are more important.

And finally, the sex scandal in Philipines. This is not really news in the global scale. We have seen Pamela Anderson, Chua Soi Lek and Edison Chen’s wayang kulit (skin flix). Now we have the plastic surgeon Kho with few up and coming actress and models. This will blow over in a week or two. Who next?
