as a trained procurement person, i am always looking for ‘bargain’ or value purchase. however, the best purchase is the purchase of experiences as apposed to material gain.

you see, material tend to deteriorate over time. the fashionable hat or pants will be out of fashion in the next few season. the car that we buy will deteriorate due to wear and tear. the house we live in will appreciate but it does gets old.

the best buy in my mind is the purchase of experience like going bungee jumping. taking a boat around an island, driving around sepang track with total abandonment, running away form police on karak just because you have a good car and he does not 🙂

go ahead. live life and buy experience more and material less.
