it was an interesting weekend. friday night (or saturday early morning) i had fun with a Porsche panamera. it was 2am on federal highway on my way home. a Porsche i overtook decided to ‘play’. it turn out my rm175k scooby is good enough to catch and play with rm800k car. it was exciting.

nothing much happened on saturday other than the usual lunch and dinner with family.

sunday was another day altogether. my first intention on sunday morning was to take a quick drive out with scooby. the kind of drive to warm up the engine. i ended up in genting – literally. this is how it happens. i filled up scooby with petrol and decided to just drive out for awhile.

at some point, i drove past duta toll and i continue driving. i thought i will make a u-turn on duke. it was not meant to be. i turned left into kuantan/genting road. my next target was to drive up to gohtong jaya and then run back. yeah right!, guess what happened? i went up straight to genting coffee bean! LOL. all in all, it was a smooth drive albeit for a couple of accidents of a civic type r crashing into a wall and a porsche 911 with a leaked radiator (i think)

once done with my coffee, i decided to go back. i put the key in the ignition then…..nothing. nothing happened. car battery is dead! no point crying at this point, i asked a group of bikers to help push my car down the hill. it worked! car started and i drove back. the alarm is blaring all the way cause it ‘thought’ i stole my own car.hehehe. (batt issues)

driving a car with the ‘dead’ battery, i can’t use the a/c, radio and even the differential is on manual mode. it was the hottest, slowest and noisiest (alarm blaring remember) drive i ever made down. took me twice as long.

immediately went to a workshop and bought a new car batt. then they hit a snag. they can’t figure out how to turn off the alarm. it went for few minutes then i had an idea of surfing the net to find the cure. less than 5 min I found it. phewwwww.

went home and wash the car. the end. that’s my sunday guys. wonderful.
